In 2018, Kara co-founded Reimagine Co. as a community initiative focused on reducing waste and making sustainable living more accessible. Through workshops, a package-free grocery store, events, and hands-on learning opportunities, Reimagine has helped thousands of people explore practical ways to live with less waste.
Since 2018, Kara and the Reimagine team have hosted more than 100 free workshops for Londoners on topics such as composting, low-waste living, food preservation, and sustainable home practices. They have also organized over 50 Repair Cafés, where volunteers help community members fix broken household items instead of throwing them away.
Together, these events have helped save more than 1,000 items from the landfill, while building a stronger culture of repair, reuse, and community connection in London.
